Mike Davidson is back in studio! The boys talk about AEW in Saskatchewan and more specifically Canadian Wrestling legend Mentallo making his national TV debut on AEW Rampage (seen on TNT in the US/TSN in Canada). Mentallo wrestled Takeshita and had an incredible outing leading Mike Davidson to speculate that he’s in a prime position to get signed. Based on his versatility, Mentallo could slot in anywhere on the AEW or ROH roster.
Saskatchewan saw some sparse crowds for AEW with Regina struggling to get to 2000 for Collision and Saskatoon barely doing better for Dynamite. Tyler Breeze has elected to start taking bookings and the boys speculate that he is a guy who would really be a big deal for Impact Wrestling to sign. Is Mike Davidson wrong? He claims he rarely is but he admitted he under estimated the Samoa Joe vs CM Punk Collision main event a few weeks back.

As a birthday gift to “The Mecca” Shane Madison, Mike Davidson let the regular guest star have his chair and microphone for this episode, while Davidson Skyped in from a remote location. MeezDeez offers up some insightful numbers of just how much market share WWE gobbles up in a week of programming, with Raw, NXT and Smackdown getting almost 3 times as many viewers as AEW Dynamite, Rampage and Collision.
Why has AEW struggled at the box office in Western Canada? With dreadful numbers of ticket sales in Regina and Hamilton AEW has failed to demonstrate enough momentum to keep up with WWE in live attendance numbers.
Kenny Omega was catching heat for dangerous bumps he took in his match with Will Osprey? Omega does today what Ric Flair couldn’t 35 years ago, however, Ric Flair could do what he did 7 nights a week. Both were works of art but perhaps it’s time for Omega to just be the special attraction in AEW.

A long weekend edition of BeezSheez Wrestling does not disappoint! Mike Davidson talks about the 3 styles of independent show that fans can see. There is the traditional model where a promotion focuses on ticket sales to meet their budget needs. A sold show, where the promotion sells an entertainment package to an organization and it becomes their responsibility to sell or distribute the tickets. And the third type of show is when promoters do a free show as an exhibition to generate news fans. Broken down, there is a pros and cons to each show model for the fans.
The guys believe that Tony Khan needs to adjust his focus creatively in AEW to establishing a number one babyface contender to work MJF. They really dropped the ball some time ago with Wardlow and need to figure a good option now to make their main event angles better.

The latest episode of BeezSheez Wrestling includes “The Mecca” Shane Madison reviewing this past weekends CWE show at Rookies Sports Bar in Winnipeg. Some interesting tidbits come from the show, including the health of CWE promoter Danny Duggan who has had 3 surgeries on his knee in the last few months.
Also what happens when a champion from a different local wrestling company does a job on a different show, does that compromise his credibility? Mike Davidson offers some good insight on that.
The first episode of AEW Collision is in the book, and CM Punk has returned. Could AEW booking be on point right now, apparently so!
Davidson believes MJF should hold the title until losing it to a babyface Kenny Omega. And then Omega should work with CM Punk on top.

The shenanigans continue on BeezSheez Wrestling as the boys get into a discussion if a wrestling commission could be valuable in establishing a commitment to qualify amongst promoters. With no ring, death match spectacles popping up like regularly and under qualified wrestlers getting on the job training, Special Guest host Shane Madison suggests regulation could help. Mike Davidson speculates who could be qualified to be a regulator and who would be great at the job. Suggesting Steve Stryker, Stan Saxon or Andrew Shallcross as ideal candidates.
WWE Hall of Famer Iron Sheik has passed away at age 81. The guys share their memories of the Sheik during the height of his career as the top heel in the industry.

Following the season premiere of Dark Side of the Ring, MeezDeez Jeez Weez and Producer Chris talk at length about Chris Candido and Sunny which includes Mike’s story of his cyber engagement with the Original Diva and WWE Hall of Famer.
BeezSheez Wrestling has become known for being a little bit “Heel Edgy” by much of the shows followers! And that leads to a discussion if the hosts have been too harsh on Primos Wrestling or not. The discussion that ensues will clarify if Davidson, Mecca and Producer Chris like or don’t like the local wrestling company.
Another “no ring” Death Match wrestling show is coming to Winnipeg. This time Timebomb Wrestling has announced a date for the show. Judging by the success or lack thereof for 3D Garbage Wrestling, this show doesn’t even have a chance.
Winnipeg Pro Wrestling has announced their most ambitious show yet, Rumble At The Burt, October 7! Already 500 tickets sold during the first ever local wrestling ticketmaster pre-sale. Congrats to the promoters.

The Adam Knight burial led to Mike Davidson laying out a much better way to book Adam Knight in a way that would be entertaining.

The wrestling world lost a Hall of Famer this week when Superstar Billy Graham passed away at the age of 79. Superstar had a significant legacy and MeezDeez, The Mecca and Producer Chris share their thoughts. In 1983 if Hulk Hogan would have turned down the WWF offer from Vince McMahon, who would have been the logical replacement to usher in Rock N Wrestling era! Don’t be surprised if BeezSheez Wrestling is nearing its final episode… Mike Davidson blew his own myth and magic this week when for the first time ever he uttered the word “I was wrong”. Apparently he says it twice in this episode. Could Mike Davidson actually get “The Outlaw” Adam Knight blackballed with WWE or AEW? He sure thinks so but he wouldn’t do that because that would be a hate filled action.
Tessa Blanchard just completed a tour of Western Canada and turned a ton of heads as being professional and extremely entertaining and talented. That’s not new, but it’s time for her to write a new chapter in her career with another big league opportunity!
